I'm a copywriter, journalist, and editor with over fourteen years of experience.
In my work (and in my life), I love making sense of consumer behavior and unpacking why people buy, eat, and click on what they do. Shopping or dining out with me can be an adventure. Just ask my husband :)
In the past, I’ve been a deputy editor at Business Insider, overseeing the retail desk, and a senior editor at Nation’s Restaurant News, where I covered the restaurant industry and edited award-winning magazine issues. I’ve also worked as a copywriter for Apple and the tech careers marketplace Uncubed, writing headlines, profiles, newsletters, and other marketing copy.
My writing has appeared in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Eater, Entrepreneur, Businessweek Magazine, and many other publications.
I received my master's degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, where I studied digital journalism and interned at the social media desk of the New York Times. I received my BFA from the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University, where I studied photography and art history and interned at the photography department of Vanity Fair magazine.
